CAS started as a provider of construction management and general contracting services to clients who wanted to renovate their existing facilities, add to them, or build new.

CAS was engaged to complete a renovation which was no small feat. This included the build out and relocation of our Toronto Contact Centre along with major renovations to our Corporate HQ that included new state of the art training rooms and our Executive Enclave. Every phase and respective move went seamless. We were able to successfully relocate 600 employees in total! As a lead project manager responsible for North American procurement and delivery of building projects for a Fortune 500 company, one of the key tasks that I oversee is maintaining seamless online connectivity with our main distribution frame (MDF) throughout all our networks. The 70,000 sf fit out for the new Canadian Head Office, located in Mississauga, was assigned to CAS Interiors Inc. (CAS), who acted as our construction manager. CAS fully understood our requirement for a seamless transition of the existing MDF from our former Head Office, also located in Mississauga, to the new location and took all steps necessary to make it a success such as; early procurement of all items required to build a dedicated MDF Room and proactive planning and scheduling of activities with third party vendors and our IT personnel, both locally and U.S based. The seamless transition of the MDF was Step 1, the second Step was the positive outcome in maintaining its continuous operation while the 70,000 sf construction fit out around it took place. CAS’ leadership on this task has increased my confidence that success on similar assignments is possible.
